Who We Are

Loretta Thompson
Caldwell Management Solutions (CMS) is a full service center that provides training, support, and technical assistance to organizations that want to improve how they function. The consulting group of CMS is comprised of a highly dynamic and prolific workforce of professional associates. We are committed to excellence in organizational leadership and management.

The consulting group is led by Loretta Caldwell Thompson. Ms. Thompson has a myriad of national and international experiences with social service, criminal justice and faith-based agencies, various management entities and academia. She has served as Executive Director for over fifteen years in the community service non-profit sector of the District of Columbia and the federal goverment. Ms. Thompson’s expertise affords her the opportunity to train and participate in community planning assessments and program design and development for social services and non-profit agencies.

Ms. Thompson’s experience in instruction goes from academia to the boardroom. She has taught and advised students at area colleges and universities, counseled senior management staff at various departmental agencies, and conducted Board training within and outside of the United States.

Ms. Thompson received her undergraduate training from the University of Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree; she furthered her formal education by receiving her Masters of Arts Degree from Howard University. Ms. Thompson is scheduled to receive her doctoral degree in 2011 from Nova Southeastern University in Organizational Leadership and Management.
